Edyth Bush Foundation trying to glow up its office building

-

The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation (Website) has filed paperwork for a Conditional Use permit with the City of Winter Park to raze its current home on Welbourne Avenue and replace it with something much larger.

The organization needs approval from the city to replace its 11,660 SF office at 199 E. Welbourne Avenue [GMap] with a new three-story building measuring in at 19,600 SF.

The increase in size would allow the foundation to move their offices to the third floor, rent out the second to another non-profit, and then offer the first floor rooms as public meeting rooms for other organizations in need.

The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation is a private grantmaking institution that works with nonprofits to be more self-sufficient and in funding efforts for children, individuals, and families in the local community.
