EDIT: The project architect is Charlan Brock.

What could be one of the largest homes in the nation is being planned for the north shore of Lake Osceola in Winter Park.

Marc and Sharon Hagle are looking to build a 40,093 SF lakefront home at 916 Palmer Avenue [GMap] on a vacant five-acre piece of land they purchased in 2017 for $3.7 million.

The size, as evidenced in the renderings below, would place it in the Top 100 Largest Homes in the country if the City of Winter Park gives it the green light. The project is scheduled to be seen by the municipality’s planning and zoning board on December 3.

Marc Hagle is the president and CEO of Tricor International (Website), a real estate firm in Maitland. The Hagles are prolific philanthropists in the region with their private foundation contributing to a number of local organizations including the onePULSE Foundation, SpaceKids Global, and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

They were one of the first investors in the Virgin Galactic Future Astronaut program and are avid travelers, having made news in 2017 for purchasing tickets to visit the Titanic shipwreck site.
