The Downtown Orlando Partnership (Website) has hired a dapper new director.
The Board of Directors launched a search for a new director following the resignation of past director, Bridget Downes Keefe (she still loves downtown but accepted a new gig at Orlando Health). After reviewing over 100 applications from across the country, the board has named Joshua Wyche, the organizations Director since 2016, as Executive Director effective immediately.
The Downtown Orlando Partnership (DOP), founded in 1961, is the only organization that focuses specifically on Downtown Orlando’s business community. The DOP offers more than 200 corporate members a single point of access to connect, collaborate, and contribute to downtown.
“Josh has been an integral part of the continued growth and success of the Downtown Orlando Partnership over the past number of years in his role as Director, and his stewardship of our membership. The Board looks forward to continued development and even greater achievements as he moves the organization forward in the role of Executive Director”, said Craig Leicester, President of the Downtown Orlando Partnership Board of Directors.
Wyche said, “It has been a privilege to represent the Downtown Orlando Partnership membership over the last four years. The DOP staff and members have positioned this organization to be a catalyst for progress. I look forward to being part of how we connect, collaborate and contribute to the future of Downtown Orlando.”
