Ruth’s Chris Steak House (Facebook | Website) will be demolishing and rebuilding the Winter Park Village location of its high-end steakhouse chain, according to a recent report by the Orlando Business Journal.
The original 1999-built 11,200 SF building at 610 N. Orlando Avenue [GMap] will be torn down and replaced by a new one measuring 12,700 SF.
The New Orleans-founded chain was started by Ruth Fertel who purchased Chris Steakhouse and made it her own. There are over 150 locations of the restaurant around the world.
The 30-acre Winter Park Village itself is on the market for $150 million.
