Wally’s Mills Avenue Liquors (Website) reopened under new ownership back in June 2019, but the renovations are apparently ongoing. They have a new window.
Wally’s closed suddenly in August 2018 following a sudden illness of longtime property manager and co-owner, Martin Snellgrove, who had been running the iconic dive for years.
New owner Minesh Patel, told Bungalower that he wanted to restore the old window that had been covered up with a painted “Wally’s” sign just like back when it was U&W Liquors.
Other future plans include an outdoor patio.
