Local breweries and restaurants are getting in trouble with the Florida Department of Health for allowing dogs in their tasting rooms and are trying to fight back – we told you about that HERE last month.

The good news is, the City of Orlando has a Dog-Friendly Dining permit that establishments can apply for that would at least allow their furry friends to hang out in designated outdoor areas, if not inside, and makes them exempt from State-led health policies.

While the Health Department isn’t actively enforcing the rule, they are obliged by law to follow up immediately when a public health complaint is made.

We rounded up a list of what businesses actually went to the lengths of applying for a permit and ranked them by neighborhood.
