The Defense Department is hiring for positions in the newly-launched Space Force military branch and some of the jobs are here in the Central Florida region.
Multiple job openings are currently posted HERE on USAJobs.gov, including everything from food service workers, to bartenders, to engineers and public affairs specialists.
Space Force is launching as an extension of the U.S. Air Force this year but it will eventually split off to form its own separate military branch that is tasked to push the country into the lead in interstellar travel and protect it from attacks from space.
The U.S. Space Force tested its first public nuclear-capable missile test on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California which hit 4,200 miles across the Pacific before landing in the Marshall Islands.
