Lynx (Website) has released its red scooters in downtown Orlando, joining Lime’s 200 rigs that hit the streets late last month.

Lynx will charge $1 to unlock their units and 15-cents per minute afterward compared to Lime which charges $1 to unlock their scooters, followed by 29-cents each minute during the ride.

Lynx donates a portion of their profits to support wildlife efforts in each city they operate in. In Orlando, they are advertising that they support The Haven Wildlife Rehabilitation program in Altamonte Springs, Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge and Education Center, and Second Chance Wildlife Sanctuary.

Lynx is only located in three cities in Connecticut, Orlando, and is coming to Fort Lauderdale soon.
