Opendoor (Website) and Redfin (Website) launched a partnership in Phoenix and Atlanta in 2019 that would combine their tech services in those two cities. They have since expanded to nine new American cities, including Orlando.
Redfin website users are now able to request an instant, all-cash offer from Opendoor as part of their home sale inquiries. Redfin will send their agent to meet with the homeowner and advise them on the process.
Homeowners are still able to sell to Opendoor if they want to sell fast and take a hit, but they can also work with a Redfin agent to list the home on the open market for a 1.5 percent fee.
Opendoor will be expanding to Charlotte, Jacksonville, Minneapolis, Nashville, Portland, Raleigh, Tampa, and Tucson.
