WMFE in Orlando and WUSF in Tampa are co-hiring a journalist to lead a community engagement push along the I-4 corridor during the 2020 election.
The community engagement lead will help both newsrooms engage with voters and non-voters along the corridor and support reporting and event efforts as part of the I-4 Votes collaboration.
This is a 40-hour a week position that is scheduled to last through December 2020. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications, two years of experience related to journalism or communications, or a master’s degree in those fields.
Salary range is $22.85-$26.35 an hour.
