UPDATE: Bungalower Buddies members got an invite to a private tasting event on Sunday, March 1 to try the new menu before it goes public.

Hungry Pants (Instagram Website), the plant-curious restaurant by the Yum Yum Cupcake Truck creators that opened in the former home of Carol’s Diner last summer, is adding brunch service.

Starting Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15, Hungry Pants will be serving their new brunch menu during a soft launch between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. New items include house-made tempeh sausage, vegan croissants, smoked carrot “lox,” huevo (or no huevo) rancheros, house-made biscuits and turkey sausage, and plenty of mimosas.

They also serve Panther Coffee (Website) out of Miami.

Hungry Pants is located at 3421 S. Orange Avenue [GMap] and following the brunch launch they will be open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.
