Walt Disney World has begun donating excess food left unused by its month-long closure to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.

The theme park is faced with an inventory of food that is likely to spoil while being shut down during the coronavirus pandemic. Second Harvest Food Bank will be accepting donations of fresh salads, greens, and cooked hot items over the next week to redistribute to Central Florida residents who are experiencing food insecurity.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida (Website) is asking that if you need food assistance, you should use the ONLINE FOOD LOCATOR to find a list of feed partners near you.
