We often get photographs and tips from our Bungalower readers of things that are happening around town, so we have started featuring them on the site in a series called Eyes on the Street, in honor of our favorite urbanist Jane Jacobs.

Kernel Encore (Facebook) will close its Milk District location after 17 years of business.
The shop, which specializes in “handmade gourmet popcorn” in over 300 flavors by the bag – single-serving to bulk – is scheduled to close March 31 at 5 p.m.
A spokesperson told Bungalower that the decision was made to close in the face of the sudden downturn in the economy but that they were looking to reopen in a different location under a different name – more on that soon.
Orlando residents have only a couple of weeks left to buy their bulk popcorn for their self-quarantined needs.
Kernel Encore is located at 601 N. Primrose Drive [GMap] by Se7enbites.

Any idea when and under what name the owners of Kernel Encore will open?
Nope! They don’t really talk to us 🙁
Good riddance. That place was only there to tow people
