UPDATES: The City of Orlando has amended its previous alert concerning onsite alcohol consumption by restaurants – per the Governor’s Executive Order, restaurants within the City of Orlando will be allowed to sell alcohol for onsite consumption.

Governor Ron DeSantis has shut down all clubs and bars as of 5 p.m. tonight for the next 30 days.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer announced in an afternoon press conference that he would be shutting down all on-site liquor consumption sales, effective immediately, through the end of the month.

That means restaurants can stay open but they can’t sell you booze. Restaurants also have a 50% cap placed on their capacity, halving the number of people who are allowed to be inside at any one time.

The announcement came ahead of planned St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages in all restaurants and bars.

Sales of liquor and alcohol to be brought home can still be made at the following locations in the bungalow neighborhoods.

  1. Don’t forget Sanford Brewing’s new location in Maitland. Since you listed Winter Garden, I thought there was no Orlando only location restrictions :^]
They just opened three weeks ago.
