Amazon announced on Monday, March 16 that it needs to hire another 100,000 people across the nation in order to keep up with a dramatic increase in online orders.

Amazon will temporarily be raising pay by $2 an hour through the end of April for its hourly employees, including warehouse workers, delivery drivers, and those in Whole Foods grocery stores, who already make at least $15 an hour.
