UPDATE: Chela Tequila and Tacos management has informed us that they closed ahead of schedule, after lunch service yesterday. They will not be open until the 29th.
Chela Tequila and Tacos (Facebook | Website) has announced that it will not be renewing its lease and will close on March 29.
A statement was made by the Chela management team on Facebook stating that the current state of restaurants in the nation simply sped up the inevitable and they were forced to close their doors earlier than expected.
We first visited Chela Tequila and Tacos back in January 14 when it opened on the ground floor of the Chase Plaza building at 183 S. Orange Avenue [GMap] in downtown Orlando.
