Walmart just announced its plans to hire more than 150,000 new hourly positions across the country.
The company also said that it will be handing out more than $365 million in bonuses to all hourly associates in its stores, translating to $300 for full-time hourly associates and $150 for part-time hourly associates who were employed with the company as of March 1.
Walmart will also be handing out its scheduled quarterly bonuses a month early, in the amount of $180 million. Both payouts should arrive as early as April 2.
The new hourly positions include work in stores, clubs, distribution and fulfillment centers.
