Governor Ron DeSantis has directed the Florida Department of Revenue to extend the final due dates for property tax payments for the 2019 tax year.
The Order of Emergency Waiver/Deviation #20-52-DOR-01 applies to all Florida counties and will shift the day that property tax payments are due from March 31 to April 15, 2020.
Property tax returns for railroad, railroad terminals, private car, and freight line equipment company properties will be shifted from April 1 to April 15, 2020.
