Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced on Tuesday, March 1 that his office would issue a stay-at-home order, effective Thursday, April 2 at midnight.

The order will instruct all Floridians, except those working at essential businesses, to shelter at home for the next 30 days. A number of Florida counties had declared their own stay-at-home orders over the past couple of weeks, but this new order will cover all corners of the state.

Restaurants are not being forced to close at this time and may continue offering take-out and delivery options. See our growing roundup HERE if you need help finding a restaurant near you.

A national stay-at-home order is expected to be declared any time this week.
