Safr (Website), the women-focused ridesharing service that launched locally in October 2019, has partnered with Mustard Seed of Central Florida to provide free rides from May 4-31 for those in need.

Mustard Seed of Central Florida (Website) helps families and individuals who are looking to rebuild after disasters or personal tragedies by providing household furnishings and clothing. According to Safr, Mustard Seed participants are often recovering from domestic abuse, drug rehabilitation, and transitioning from homelessness.

Safr will be providing free rides for individuals heading to Mustard Seed to get their home necessities including furniture, bedding, appliances, clothing, and more but the furniture will be delivered by Mustard Seed staff and Safr rides will be limited to smaller items.

Riders must be within a 15-mile radius from the Mustard Seed’s location at 12 Mustard Seed Lane [GMap] in Eatonville.
