The City of Winter Park will host a special, “socially-distant” shopping and dining experience for Mother’s Day weekend starting 4 p.m. Friday, May 8 through 11 p.m. Sunday, May 10 in its downtown shopping district.
Contrary to what the name may lead you to believe, this isn’t meant for mothers who don’t want to hang out with their children, it’s really a sidewalk sale that will allow people to enjoy what the retail stores have to offer without having to step inside. All stores will be adhering to the 25 percent indoor capacity rule set by the State.
All participating restaurants will be required to space out their patrons with the required six-feet as well.
The CDC still recommends that you wear a face mask when in public places.
