THE COUNTY MASKS WON'T LOOK LIKE THIS PEGASUS ONE FROM LOOKHUMAN.COM BUT THEY'LL WORK JUST AS WELL - IF NOT BETTER.

Orange County has launched a new initiative called PPE for Small Biz in Orange County through which it will dispense personal protective equipment to help small businesses reopen, at no charge.

The County has one million masks and 200,000 2-ounce bottles of hand sanitizer that they plan to distribute to roughly 20,000 qualified businesses at drive-thru pickup sites.

To qualify, small business owners must register by completing an online form HERE to receive an appointment at one of the designated pick-up sites. In order to be eligible, small businesses can be for-profit or non-profit and must be incorporated with majority operations in the county and they must employ more than three but less than 40 individuals – regardless of whether they are full-time or part-time status.

Priority will be given to small businesses that recently reopened or are eligible to reopen in the first phase of the Florida State guidelines.

Distribution is expected to begin 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, May 11 and will remain open through Friday, May 15 or until supplies run out.

There are six pick-up sites across the county, with one site per each district.
