New bagel shop opens in College Park

-

Belanger Bagels (Facebook | Website), a Montreal-style bagel shop, has opened in the former home of Sugarbuzz Dezert Company (Facebook | Website) at 4339 Edgewater Drive [GMap] in College Park.

Belanger Bagels has been operating as a pop-up for the past few months over at East End Market in Audubon Park but finally made the move to brick and mortar when Sugarbuzz left the space.

The owner, Eric Belanger, is operating the 600 SF storefront as a grab-and-go model at the moment but will add a highbar for dining soon, along with coffee by Lineage Coffee. They are serving just plain, poppy seed, sesame seed, and “everything” options at the moment.

Belanger Bagels will be open 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday.
