The Orange County Library System launched a special cultural pass program in August 2019 called “Local Wanderer” that lets cardholders experience museums, sporting events, concerts, and more, just by using their library cards.

The program was an immediate hit after it was launched but was forced into a temporary hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. That program is once again open for library customers in a limited capacity with free admission to three cultural venues: Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens, Orange County Regional History Center, and the Mennello Museum of American Art.

To celebrate its return, the library system has announced the release of a limited-edition lapel pin, that was created in partnership with the local wizards at Secret Society Goods (Instagram | Website). The pin is available for purchase at the library’s gift shop in the downtown branch or online HERE. The pin retails for $10 and all proceeds go towards the Friends of the Orange County Library System.
