We told you HERE that Gideon’s Bakehouse (Facebook | Website) had just announced that it will be going big for its second location by opening a new shop in Disney Springs.
To help with the challenge of scaling their operations without sacrificing quality, Gideon’s owner Steve Lewis has on-boarded Chef Kristy Carlucci to the team. Chef Carlucci comes to the Gideon’s team with over a decade of baking and pastry experience, most recently spending five years as the Pastry Chef of The Osprey Tavern in Baldwin Park. Chef Carlucci studied at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, and has worked with notables like Richard Rosendale CMC, Francisco J. Miyoga CMB, and Chef Angela Hartnett.
Chef Carlucci will be running the new production kitchen and oversee quality control and new product offerings, including more of the innovative half-pound cookies that put Gideon’s on the map.
