This two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom home was designed by Frank Sheehy, an award-winning architect based out of Central Florida, and built in 1969 in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright.

The Mid-Century Modern home was created for Bill Stubbs, a concert pianist, and has been affectionately referred to as “Stubbs Studio” ever since, and sits on a half-acre piece of property on Lake Adelaide, at 224 Adelaide Boulevard [GMap] in Altamonte Springs.

The home is centered around a massive, suspended staircase that winds its way upwards surrounded by chert limestone rock. The living room has a 22-foot ceiling and opens to the second story, which features two-story windows for sunset views over the lake, but there are four balconies to hang out on too if you need some fresh air.

Updates include a new roof in 2018, new casement windows throughout the home, new doors inside and out, and the exterior of the home has just been repainted.

A new seawall was just installed by the lake as well.

The asking price is $700,000.
