As shared by The Daily City last week, a new hibachi-style restaurant is aiming to open in the new My Neighborhood Storage Center building at 108 E. Colonial Drive [GMap] on the northern edge of Lake Eola Heights.

This will be the third location of Maki Hibachi (Website) and it will be moving into newly-built 2,500 SF space in the building. It is a full-service restaurant company that offers sushi, hibachi, and Omakase options – which you can see in the rendering below with the hightop dining option facing the kitchen.

The space is being designed by the team at GDP Designbuild (Website) which you may recognize from their work for DOMU, Mamak, Kasa, Hawkers, Soupa, Tori Tori, and Bento.

An opening date has not been announced at this time.
