The Florida Brewers Guild (Website) has released a letter to Governor Ron DeSantis and the Department of Business and Professional Regulation asking for a plan to allow craft breweries to reopen their facilities.
Under the current restrictions, small brewers have been forced to close for on-site consumption and offer take-out only. Some breweries that serve food have been allowed to stay open with caps on their occupancy numbers but even so, according to the letter, more than 100 brewers may be forced to close in the next two weeks.

Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Secretary Halsey Beshears has since announced that his office will begin meeting with bar and brewery owners this week to “discuss ideas of how to reopen.”
Next week starting Friday, Iām going to set meetings throughout Florida with breweries and bars to discuss ideas on how to reopen. We will come up with a Safe, Smart and Step-by-step plan based on input, science and relative facts on how to reopen as soon as possible.
