Orlando City Soccer has just announced that it will allow a limited number of fans to attend three upcoming home matches this month at the Exploria Stadium.

This will be the first time in-person attendance will have been permitted since the pandemic began months ago. Fans will be allowed to attend the following matches:

  • Nashvile SC on Wednesday, August 26 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Atlanta Unted on Saturday, September 5 at 8 p.m.
  • Inter Miami CF on Saturday, September 12 at 7:30 p.m. which will be broadcast live on FOX and Fox Deportes.

While the exact number of how many fans will be allowed to attend has not been made public, Orlando Sentinel‘s Julia Poe is reporting that it will be limited to 30 percent of the stadium’s capacity.

Fans will be required to follow a number of safety protocols including wearing a mask properly at all times while in the venue (except when eating or drinking while seated), all guests will have their temperatures checked upon entry, no bags (even transparent ones) will be allowed into the venue in order to reduce times during security screening and time spent in line, and fans must remain socially-distanced and within their own party.

Failure to comply with any of these protocols will result in the party being removed from the venue.

Other procedures include touchless hand sanitizer stations throughout the venue, disinfecting and sanitation processes carried out in The Club throughout the game, dedicated staff members to clean and disinfect high-touch areas in the stadium, seats will be power washed and manually sanitized and all enclosed spaces in the venue will be subject to disinfectant fogging before each game, and all transactions will be cashless to reduce contact. Click the announcement link at the top of our article for the complete list of new procedures.

2020 Orlando City Season Ticket Members will be given access to tickets before they are opened to the public.
