We told you HERE in April that Sichuan restaurant Taste of Chengdu (Facebook) would be opening a second restaurant in Baldwin Park and we finally have an opening date.
The new restaurant, specializing in authentic Chinese food from the Sichuan province, will be opening in the former home of Chi Pan Asian, located at 4856 New Broad Street [GMap], in the same public plaza as Publix Liquors.
The owners told us in April that they hoped to be open by May, which obviously was delayed. The new opening date is set for August 29, 2020. The restaurant is hiring experienced servers and you can email them at [email protected] if interested in applying.
Operating hours had not been made public at the time of this post.
