Orlando-based artist Ben Van Beusekom (Instagram | Website) has been creating couture gas masks during the pandemic that will be on display at City Arts in mid-September.

Bombshell: Masquerading Warfare will showcase Van Beusekom’s elaborate masks created with beads, feathers, gems, and magic. Van Beusekom is a fashion designer, couturier, and painter who specializes in upcycled and discarded materials alongside Swarovski crystals, gemstones, posh beads, sequins and luxurious fabrics.

The show will run from Thursday, September 17 through October 11 at CityArts which is located at 39 S. Magnolia Avenue [GMap] in downtown Orlando and is presented by the Global Peace Film Festival.
