The Mustard Seed of Central Florida (Facebook | Website) is a local organization that collects donations of furniture, appliances, household items, and other essentials that are needed to make a home, and furnishes entire houses for qualifying families in Central Florida.

They are the only furniture and clothing bank in the region.

The Mustard Seed had a seven-passenger Econoline van stolen on August 13 from a Winter Park business on West Fairbanks Avenue. The van was then involved in a crash at the intersection of North Orange Avenue and Orlando Avenue, injuring the driver, who jumped into another car and got away.

The car was deemed unfit for use due to the damage from the crash, so the organization has launched a GoFundMe to raise the money needed to purchase a replacement.

At the time of this post, The Mustard Seed of Central Florida had raised over $7,000 of its $10,000 target in just 10 days.
