EXPLORIA STADIUM PHOTO VIA ORLANDO CITY SOCCER

The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will launch its 2020-2021 Season in Exploria Stadium on Saturday, September 26 at 7:30 p.m.

The concert is being billed as the “first professional orchestra to perform a full concert in a U.S. soccer stadium” and will be the orchestra’s first full concert since March 9. The event was originally scheduled for Bob Carr Theater, but that venue has been closed indefinitely due to the pandemic.

Face masks and temperature checks are required before being allowed admittance to the stadium and attendance will be limited to ensure appropriate physical distance.

Violinist Simone Porter will be the featured soloist for the evening’s performance of Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto.

Tickets are currently only open to season ticket holders but event-specific tickets for the evening will open to the public in the next few weeks HERE.
