#BringToOrlando: John Oliver’s Rat Erotica art tour

-

John Oliver is obsessed with rat erotica.

The host of Last Week Tonight is touring his collection of eccentric art to five different museums this fall. Each museum will receive a $10,000 donation and a local food bank will receive a donation in the same amount.

The curious art tour is a follow-up to his recent purchase of a hard-to-find piece of artwork by Brian Swords of York, who sold a series of erotic paintings in an art auction in 1992 hosted on public television station WITF.

Interested museums can email the show at [email protected] to apply.

We’d like to go on record saying that Mennello Museum of American Art, Orlando Museum of Art, The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, and the Cornell Fine Arts Museum would all be excellent local options for this show.
