Stop Shooting Us in the Back March

Residents are holding a “Jericho March” at Orlando Police Headquarters to appeal to city officials to ban police from shooting fleeing suspects in the back. Please wear a face covering; COVID-19 precautions will be enforced. This year the Orlando police and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office shot two young black men – Kevin Adolphe and Salaythis Melvin — in the back killing them. Police are only supposed to shoot when their lives are in danger.
