The Florida Department of Transportation will be permanently changing the configuration of South Street under Interstate 4 into a one-way street effective as soon as November 18.
The segment of South Street between Garland Avenue and Hughey Avenue will be shifted to one-way only as shown on the graphic above, in order to accommodate express lanes which will be opening in the near future.
South Street and the eastbound I-4 exit ramp to South Street will close overnight on Tuesday, November 17 at 10 p.m. and reopen at 6 a.m. Wednesday, November 18 to convert the street to one-way traffic.
