UPDATE: A third Orlando City player has been asked to join the USMNT team, Mauricio Perea. Pereyra has also signed a one-year DP extension.
Orlando City Soccer Club announced on Monday that forwards Daryl Dike and Chris Mueller have been called to serve on the U.S. Men’s National Team.
The Orlando ambassadors will be heading to a camp ahead of the USMNT’s international friendly versus El Salvador on December 9 in Fort Lauderdale, which will be the last game of 2020 and televised via an ESPN network at 7:30 p.m.
Orlando City lost to New England 3-1 on Sunday’s Eastern Conference Semifinals game at Exploria Stadium, ending the 2020 Major League Soccer season for Orlando.
