The City of Orlando and the Orlando Economic Partnership (Website) is currently accepting applications for their collaborative Orlando Technology Community Support Program.

The program provides matching grants of up to $10,000 to help develop tech-focused events that “… unite the community and the local tech workforce.”

Qualifying pitches must include the four key goals of the initiative:

  • Building the tech talent pipeline
  • Catalyzing private capital investments
  • Increasing connection and collaboration among start-up and existing tech companies
  • Increasing Orlando’s reputation as a tech hub

A panel of judges will include Sydney Rossman-Reich, managing partner PRN; Kathy Chiu, managing partner DeepWork Capital; Stacie Ruth, senior vice president of virtual care, Best Buy Health; Orrett Davis, founder, Mighty Orbit; and Matthew Broffman, director of innovation, City of Orlando.
