You’re running out of time to find that perfect gift. We thought we’d pitch in by listing some of our favorite Orlando shops and items, just in time for the holidays.
Looking for a place to shop in real-time? Check out a quick list of our favorite gift shops in our fancy retail map below:
“100 THINGS TO DO IN ORLANDO” – WEBSITE

Our pal Jon Busdeker loves Orlando so much he wrote a book about it. Well, he co-authored it with John Brown. It’s all about the best restaurants, events, attractions, and activities you can find in Central Florida and it’s an essential read for anyone who calls Orlando home.
ALYSSA MAKES SOMETHING – WEBSITE

Alyssa Campbell is making the cutest custom Christmas ornaments with wood-burned family portraits on them. They take some time so you probably wouldn’t get these by Christmas Day but it’d still be fun to get one as a belated present to your loved ones for next year.
APRIL SEELBACH’S – WEBSITE
This Florida-based artist specializes in retro landscapes juxtaposed with trippy designs peppered into the skyline and she’s a must-have for anyone who loves themselves some Modernist chic.
You can shop her prints online HERE.
BUNGALOWER BUDDY KEYCHAIN – WEBSITE

For a donation of $20, you can get a special Bungalower Buddy keychain that lets you “unlock” deals around town at participating businesses. It’s our own answer to a Buy Local program and lets you get out there and enjoy some of the best local options available. We add more and more businesses every week so remember to check HERE to see what’s new.
BURROW PRESS – WEBSITE

Give your book lover friends something to squee over with a subscription to local indie Orlando publisher, Burrow Press. Members get four books by Florida authors sent to their mailbox a year and access to private book-loving events.
ENZIAN THEATER – WEBSITE

Become a member at Enzian Theater and enjoy a year’s worth of discounted admission to movies, one free popcorn per show, and discounted admission to select programming. Members also get access to special event notifications like when we were hosting our drive-in movie series earlier in the year. The higher the membership level, the more the perks. Click the image for more information.
FLORIDA STATE PARKS – WEBSITE
You can get an Annual Entrance Pass to all of Florida’s State Parks for just $60. Click the image to order one for your outdoor-loving loved ones.
HELLCATS USA – WEBSITE
These Orlando makers have got everything from paper goods to lapel pins and stickers. And they’re hella cool looking too. And they just opened up a brick and mortar shop in Winter Park that you definitely need to add to your “Must-Visit” list.
HELLO HAPPY PLANTS – WEBSITE

Hand-sculptured air plant pots in the shape of urban artifacts, like freaking Dorito bags or adorable little LaCroix cans. Genius. We’re their biggest fans and feature them in our Gift Guides every year.
HOOP THERE IT IS – INSTAGRAM
This local artist embroiders on top of photo transferred fabric, in hoops! The pieces are fantastic and truly one-of-a-kind.
JANET’S DRY HUMOR – WEBSITE

Forget flowers that rot and wilt and jump on the dried floral bandwagon. Janet’s Dry Humor is the sister concept by Porch Therapy on the second floor of East End Market that specializes in gorgeous, Instagram-ready dried florals for your special occasions.
JUST OKAY CO. – WEBSITE

Matt Verdier is one of our favorite local indie shirt makers in town. You can see Verdier all over town selling his fresh designs or you can order one HERE.
ORANGE COUNTY REGIONAL HISTORY CENTER – WEBSITE

Maybe you’re looking more for experiences versus things this holiday season and we’ve got just what you’re looking for. The History Center is auctioning off unique experience packages this holiday season and you have until December 20 to make your bid. We wrote all about it HERE earlier in the month.
PLANTED PERFECTLY – WEBSITE
We’re big Cecil fans at Bungalower and it’s not just because he’s handsome and likes to garden. Check out his online shop of curated ephemera and vintage finds – you’ll love it.
POTHEADS BY AMBER – WEBSITE

So many creepy, funny, clever little head-shaped pots waiting for you to plop a plant into them. Get in there, people.
SECRET SOCIETY GOODS – WEBSITE

Secret Society Goods makes some of the coolest pins, stickers, and occult-inspired merch around and was founded by cutie patootie Orlando resident Sean Walsh. Check out his “Highway From Hell” sticker if you need a laugh.
STORY FARM – WEBSITE

The award-winning book publishing wizards at Story Farm have published a whole library full of books with local foodies, and they’re located in the East End Market. How much more local can you get? Check out their whole lineup by clicking the link above and get inspired by amazing chefs that you can visit in person.
SWAN CITY – WEBSITE

They’re everywhere. If you don’t own their “Procrastination” shirt yet, then can you really call yourself an Orlandoan? They also do Orlando-inspired scented candles, hats, stickers, and more.
