The new flagship Gideon’s Bakehouse (Facebook Website) location we told you about in June 2020 is finally open in Disney Springs.

The new Gdeon’s Bakehouse, crowned by a unique gargoyle sculpture on the roof, is still filled with ominous/spooky touches like old books, oddities, and “magical flames.”

“We’ve flexed every creative muscle to shape the atmosphere of our Gideon’s Flagship Bakehouse. The feeling in that building had to be perfect, and that old brick spoke to us, begging to be returned to a life it once knew. Gideon’s at Disney Springs will transport you to a Victorian era mixed with the flair of alchemy. Our desserts are only 50% of the experience; the rest lies in being immersed in our ominous home and enjoying a conversation. We want to take a little time to get to know you, tell you our story, and learn about yours.” says owner and creator, Steve Lewis.

The new location wil offer five permanent cookie flavors with a sixth flavor that will rotate monthly, led by newly-hired Chef Kristy Carlucci. Though this month there are two special holiday-inspired flavors available:

  • Santa’s White Christmas Cookie – White chocolate chip cookie with coconut, sweet caramel, vanilla, and ground, locally-roasted coffee beans.
  • Krampus Cookie – Triple chocolate salted Andes mint cookie.

The new location will also be offering unique cold brews like “The Peanut Butter Iced Coffee” among others.

The new location is now open in The Landing at Disney Springs but the original 286 SF location will still be open in East End Market in Audubon Park.
