A new Hawaiian shaved ice concept will be opening next door to the popular donut shop, Shaka Donuts (Facebook | Instagram), in Downtown South at 223 E. Michigan Street [GMap].
The new Shaka Ice Co. (Instagram) is scheduled to open in March 2021 and will specialize in Hawaiian-style shaved ice using real, made-in-house flavors.

Yep, they’re open. They were closed a bit during the summer for some pandemic-inspired renovations though.
