Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer’s Dr. Martin Kuther King, Jr. Commission will host a six-part community dialogue series in partnership with the Valencia College Peace and Justice Institute (Website), kicking-off on Thursday, January 21.

“The Dream Series” will feature a series of virtual workshops where participants can explore race, systems of privilege, and oppression, with a goal of strengthening the value of community, relationships, and trust in the City of Orlando.

Each workshop is free but advanced registration is required and can be done so via THIS LINK.

 Participants will gain an understanding of what is meant by privilege (unearned advantage) and explore multiple areas of privilege, including white privilege.
