The SoDo District (Facebook | Instagram | Website) has released a schedule for 2021 featuring 21 micro-events through the year to introduce their local business owners to the City of Orlando.
The Main Street program will be hosting two events each month to highlight its local business members at their physical locations. In January, the district highlighted Flirty Girl Lash Studio (Facebook | Website) and Club Pilates (Facebook | Website), and for the month of February they are inviting Orlando to the following events:
- 1 p.m. Saturday, February 6 – Beer Olympics at Rockpit Brewing – The event will feature a series of COVID-safe challenges like a chicken wing-eating contest, giant beer pong, a mini-putt golf course, corn hole, and more. Winners can walk home with prizes and swag.
- Noon-3 p.m. Sunday, February 28 – Early Spring Bouquet Workshop – Floral designers from In Bloom Florist will share how to create your own floral arrangement featuring early spring blooms that you can then take home and enjoy. Learn how to handle fresh-cut flowers while enjoying refreshments from Swirlery Wine Bar.
