IMAGE VIA MAYHEM ON MILLS

Bungalower Media, in partnership with our friends at Will’s Pub (Facebook | Website), will be popping up in an empty car lot in Mills 50 for a series of socially-distant, outdoor event programming over the next few months.

Under the banner of “Carlotta’s Culture Park” we will be hosting a series of outdoor concerts, movie screenings, and random events at the former Imperial Sales and Leasing lot located at 1000 N. Mills Avenue [GMap] in the heart of the Mills 50 Main Street District.

All events will be ticketed to maintain manageable numbers of attendees and to encourage adequate social distancing protocols.

The first event in the series will be hosted by our pals at Mayhem on Mills (Facebook) on February 21 at 3 p.m. “Mayhem on Mills: Weird Science” will feature five nail-biting wrestling matches including fan-favorites like Sawyer Wreck, Drennen, Handsome Man of Science, and Troy Hollywood.

All performers and crew will be wearing masks the entire day, except when performing on-stage, and all wrestlers will have gotten COVID-19 tests prior to the show. Audience members will be grouped into sections based on party size with six-foot spacing between groups. All audience members will be required to wear masks.

Note: We’re even buying some bleachers with the help of private donors and our buddies at “A Mediocre Time with Tom and Dan.”

Tickets go on sale HERE on Wednesday at noon with early bird pricing but Bungalower Buddy members will get access one day early, so check your email inboxes before you miss your chance.

Stay tuned for more information on our fun, safe, and super-chill “Carlotta’s Culture Park” programming in the near future. If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor for the 3-month project, email us at [email protected] and we will send you information on how to plug in.

  1. Wrestling like that is truly the opposite of cultural. It’d ridiculous and our community should not endorse it. The rest of the plan is great and should be enjoyed by many.
