The pedal-powered-petal-pushers at Fleet Farming (Facebook | Website) are adding fruit tree installations to their service menu this spring.

Fleet Farming has been building urban farmlettes in the Greater Orlando area (mostly Audubon Park) for years and recently-ish expanded to for-hire raised bed garden installation services. As in, you hire them, and they’ll build you a raised bed garden and maintain it for you.

Now they’re adding fruit tree planting to their services with available plants like bananas (an herb, not a tree), starfruit, Barbados cherries (a shrub), mango, and more. Spring in Florida is the ideal time to plant fruit trees so they have time to establish themselves before the summer and fall.

You can schedule a free consultation with Fleet Farming staff HERE to ensure you are getting the right plant for the right place in your yard, prior to purchase.

  1. This is awesome! Thanks for posting. Totally getting a “Barbados Cherry” tree. Never even heard of a Barbados Cherry before this. Now I must cultivate this rare seed! 🧐
