Hinckley’s Fancy Meats (Instagram | Website), the popular deli/meat counter in the East End Market, has launched a new series of to-go dinners featuring “out-of-the-ordinary proteins” like axis deer, elk, and wild boar.

The first meal in the “Creature Comfort” series will be Elk Lasagna. The dinner-for-two will feature fresh baked bread with charcuterie and cheese, an escarole salad with fennel and orange, the elk lasagna with San Marzano tomato sauce, and an optional course of pannacotta.

The price is $52 and the meal is available to order HERE.

Fancy Meats’ owner, Matt Hinckley told Bungalower that he’s still planning the future dishes but he’s looking at things like Australian camel already – an animal that was brought to the continent to aid in the construction of railroads and then left to become invasive, just like boar in Florida.
