An Orlando police officer is getting some social media love this week after he was caught on camera performing a small act of kindness for a woman selling flowers on the side of the road.

Officer James Wilson was following up on a complaint made about a street vendor selling flowers curbside the day before Valentine’s Day out in the Mall at Millenia area. Officer Wilson, rather than asking the woman to leave, pulled out some cash and bought out her supply so she could go home early for the day.

You can watch the exchange, caught by TikTok user Jackie Irby, or @dogmomma2three, below.

At the time of this post, we’re unsure if this is the same Officer Wilson who made headlines in 2015 when he was caught on video while fighting a homeless man.

  1. Jennifer, Dog Lives do Matter and more than half of the state thinks having DeSantis as our governor is awesome, so what’s your point?

  2. Uhhhh does anyone think this is staged? The person sharing the video has the tag line “Dog Lives Matter” and several Tik Toks about how awesome it is having DeSantis as an elected official….
