A three-story mixed-use building is being planned for College Park at 1717 Edgewater Drive [GMap] according to paperwork filed with the City of Orlando.

The plans call for 8,909 SF of office and 989 SF of retail to be constructed on a 0.23-acre site where a small office building currently stands.

The plans are currently scheduled to go before the Municipal Planning Board for review at the April 20 meeting.

  1. The current building has such a cool look and vibe. It’s sad that they would tear it down. Please stop this development and reuse the current awesome building.

  2. This building does not belong in the College Park community. There is nothing about it that
enhances the warm, traditional & inviting atmosphere of this neighborhood. Surely a design
can be found that will be complimentary & compatible with the homes and buildings in College Park.
