The City of Orlando is looking to fill some big shoes left behind by Ian Sikonia, Senior Planner and Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator at City Hall.
Sikonia, not to be confused with Sokovia, helped create a number of notable programs during his career with the city, including:
- Bicycle and Pedestrian Count Program
- Bicycle Beltway Project
- Bicycle Rack Request Program
- Bike Share Program
- Scooter Share Program
The nature of the job centers on advanced transportation planning, and serving as senior, non-supervisory staff involving land development, growth management, urban design and preservation, economic development, housing, and neighborhood involvement.
The minimum starting salary is $28.64-$37.94 per hour, depending on qualifications.
