Florida Citrus Sports (Website) has just announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire the rights to the Florida Cup, and will host future matches at Camping World Stadium in West Orlando.

Florida Cup CEO Ricardo Villar has joined the Florida Citrus Sports staff on growing the event even further. The January 2020 event brought in an estimated economic impact of $19.2 million to the Central Florida community with over 40,000 fans attending Florida Cup that week.

It’s estimated that an audience of over 5 million viewers watched the tournament on television that week.

Camping World Stadium is also a candidate to host games during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
